Jan Tomšič is a hidden gem in Slovenian music scene.
In 2000 he founded a world music band Caminoigra, which gained a wide audience and recognition.
Jan collaborated with many renowed artists, such as Boštjan Gombač, Nino Mureškič, Tadej Kampl, Nino Degleria, Primož Fleischman, Jan Sever, Janez Dovč
and many more.

Yatanu – Second Wave
During the Corona crisis Jan transformed his wooden sauna into a temporary music studio where he recorded two albums. This is the second one, which was produced during the second wave of the pandemic. As in the first album he played all instruments by himself.
In spite of difficult times in which the album was created, Jan’s music is full of optimism and good spirit.
Ananisis
Jan is a masterful percussive guitar player. In the acoustic hall of Mestni muzej Ljubljana, Jan and his guitar are working magic. We are made believe that there is a whole band playing; we hear a singer, a bass player, a percussionist, a guitarist,... But in the end, it is only one man, with two hands, his guitar and a galvanized spirit.
The fact that Ananisis was recorded live and that all of it's songs are Jan's improvisations, makes the album even more incredible.
Yatanu
During the first lockdown Jan started to record materials by himself. With the help of the loop-station, various instruments and his outstanding voice he managed to compose a joyful masterpiece. The album is a real life saver during hard times.
